What have you been doing for the past 10 years and what do you hope to do in the next 10 years?:
I live in Los Angeles with the love of my life, my wife Lisa -- we met 10 years ago and finally got hitched a few years back and had a beautiful boy named Jeremy (now 2) who rocks my world on a daily basis. Lisa had three kids previously, so we've got a full house and our hands full but there's lots of love to go around.
Professionally, I've pretty much been knee deep in many aspects of the music biz. Back in '95, I started out in a LA recording studio cleaning toilets and fun stuff like that till someone finally let me start hitting 'record' and turn some knobs. Anyway, I've had some amazing experiences over the years and have worked with some big artists -- recording artists like Brian McKnight, The Temptations, Aaron Neville, Puddle of Mudd, Britney Spears (I used to work at her house and produced and co-wrote a song for/with Britney -- I also was recording with Kevin Federline a lot when he first decided he wanted to Rap. Yes, really. I have he tapes to prove it!!!). I've worked on an insane amount of rap projects -- Snoop Dogg, Bone Thugs N' Harmony, E-40, WC, Kurupt -- I recorded a song called "We Can Freak It" for Kurupt years back that was a smash in LA that I was particularly proud of. These days I've been writing music for a variety Film and TV projects and working on my own recording projects. And writing songs. It's rewarding to be able to do something I love but it's a career path that definately had it's ups and downs.
